    Swimming at Erdington Pool

    For SEND children and their siblings aged 4-18 years old.  Responsible adults must be in the water with their young people.

    Fit for All at Erdington Pool this Summer is FREE for SEND young people and a free healthy meal is provided in the Community Room.  This event is hosted by SEND Haven – a community led group aiming to offer support, respite and improved wellbeing for SEND families.

    Erdington Leisure Centre is at Orphanage Road, Erdington, Birmingham B24 9HU.  Erdington station is half a mile away.  Or catch bus routes 96, X3, or X15 to Erdington High Street, or bus 28 to Barnabas Road, all a short walk.  There is limited on-site parking and car parks nearby.

    There are:

    • Two accessible parking bays
    • Pool pod on main pool
    • Ladder entrance into the pool with handrails each side
    • Graduated steps in both the main and teaching pool
    • Changing places available
    • Accessible changing facilities, showers & toilets on both floors with emergency pull cord.

    Swimming at Cocks Moor Pool in Kings Heath

    For SEND children and their siblings aged 11-16 years old.  Responsible adults must be with young people in the water during the session.

    Fit for All at Cocks Moor Pool this Summer is FREE for SEND young people.  Young people get a free healthy brunch and there is a cafe at the pool.

    Cocks Moor Pool is on Alcester Road South, Kings Heath, Birmingham B14 6ER.  There is car parking on site.  Or catch the 50/150 bus

    Swimming at Beeches Pool in Great Barr

    For SEND children and their siblings aged 4-12 years old.  Responsible adults must stay on site and supervise young people during the session.

    Fit for All at Beeches Pool this Summer is FREE for SEND young people.  This event is hosted by SEND Haven – a community led group aiming to offer support, respite and improved wellbeing for SEND families.

    Beeches Pool is at Beeches Rd, Birmingham B42 2HQ.  Car park on site.  Buses 5, 51, X51, 52, 28  Nearest station is Hamstead but this is a bus or cab ride away.

    There are:

    • 2 accessible parking bays
    • Step free access
    • Wet side chair and manual hoist available at the pool
    • Accessible gym equipment including a Cable Column and Arm Cycle
    • Accessible toilet and shower available off the main reception (key must be requested from a member of staff)
