    Music and Messy Play in Selly Oak

    At Coronation Playcentre – the home of Inclusive Play – FREE End of Summer Bonanza for SEND children and families:

    The End of Summer Bonanza is Free for Fit for All Club members and families – siblings welcome – at Coronation Playcentre.  Free lunch for children; cake and snacks for sale to parents.

    The Playcentre is the base for Inclusive Play charity Parks for Play and a brilliant resource for SEND kids and their families in Birmingham.  It is at the corner of  Dawlish Road and Coronation Road, Selly Oak B29 6DE.  Selly Oak station and buses 61 and 63 are nearby.  Bus 76 stops outside the centre.  Bus 11 (Outer Circle) is a short walk.  Parking on street by the Playcentre.  There are accessible toilets and facilities.

  • Rocksteady Music School at The Edge in Highgate

    Rocksteady Music School at The Edge in Highgate

    Rock Steady Music School comes to The Edge – home of Friction Arts – on Monday 20 July.  The Music School is for SEND young people aged 11-18 years.  Participants get a free healthy lunch as well as the music lesson.  The session runs 10-1pm.  Rocksteady acts to remove barriers to music education, taking free music teaching to some of the most disadvantaged children in society and those facing challenging circumstances.

    The Edge is at 79-81 Cheapside B12 0QH.  There is limited on-site or street parking.  It is a 5 minute walk from Moor Street station and a 15 minute walk from Birmingham New Street (or 5 mins in a cab). There are many buses including the 50; the 35, 45 and 47; and the 2, 3, 4, 4A, 5, 6, 17, 60, 97, and X2 which stop on Digbeth High Street.
