    Canoeing and Tubing at Ackers in Small Heath

    Selected Ackers Adventure sessions this Summer are FREE for SEND young people!  At this session: Climbing and Tubing for SEND children and their siblings aged 5-18 years old.  Responsible adults should stay on site during the session – and there’s plenty to explore.  Ackers is a 75 acre site within 2 miles of Birmingham city centre based at Golden Hillock Road, Small Heath/Sparkbrook, Birmingham B11 2PY.

    Canoeing

    Tubing

    The nearest train station is Small Heath – a 15 minute walk – and there are buses nearby: 8a, 8c to Walford Road (10 minute walk); 4 to the Warwick Road (15 minute walk); 5 and 6 to the Stratford Road (20 minute walk) but you might need to get a cab to manage the journey.  There is  free, accessible on site parking at Ackers adjacent to the main Reception (turn off Golden Hillock Road into the site entrance and follow the access road and signs for approximately 1/2 mile).
