Find out about the Club

Fit for All Club is a club for children and young people aged 4 to 18 years old with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) and who live in Birmingham and:

  • go to a Special School
  • have an Education Health & Care Plan (EHCP)
  • do not have a school placement or are educated at home or have alternative provision as a result of their special needs
  • are referred by Birmingham Social Services.
See how Members Benefit

Members of the Club get access to dozens of (mainly) SEND-exclusive family days out and sessions at venues and centres across Birmingham and the West Midlands. You also get information about face-to-face clubs and pop-up events for SEND young people; offers from other organisations; a chance to say what activities you want the Club to support; and access to new projects, like the Online SEND-Friendly Youth Club for Birmingham.

Often Members can bring siblings too. At some events, Members need to be accompanied by a responsible adult – but that doesn’t have to be their main parent/carer and we try to set up sessions so that parent/carers – where they do attend – get a break too.

See how the Club is Funded

Many of the events and activities are supported with Birmingham Children’s Trust Short Breaks funding.

Other events may be supported by Birmingham City Council’s Holiday Activities Fund (HAF), Lottery and other funding. We also rely on volunteers – many of whom are family members who get together to lead activities their young people want to be involved in.

Fit for All Club is FREE to join and always will be. Some events and activities charge a fee – although some, during main school holidays, are free. Where we do charge, it usually costs no more than £2.50 per place.
