Easter 2026 Fit for All Program

Saturday March 28 – Sunday April 12 2026

The map shows Fit for All sessions this Easter Holiday.

  1. Family events you can book places for using Fit for All Club are shown by ORANGE FLAGS
  2. Sessions that you can book this Easter (but you may need to talk to the group running them first) are GREEN STARS
  3. Sessions that you can’t book this Easter (see reasons below), but you can still find out about and might be able to come to in future are the PURPLE CIRCLES.

Fit for All organises extra SEND-friendly sessions during main school holidays. These are different to the sessions we organise during the rest of the year because most school holiday activities are supported by Holiday Activities and Food (HAF) funding. HAF is a Government project managed by local councils.

HAF-funded sessions:

  • are not necessarily all SEND-exclusive
  • include healthy food and snacks for participants (not all our other Fit for All Club sessions do)
  • are free for SEND children and children who get Free School Meals
  • Only run on ‘eligible days’ – that is only weekdays when kids would normally be at school (our other sessions also run at weekends and on Bank Holidays).

Many HAF-funded sessions are run so children and young people attend without their parents and families. (Most of the Fit for All Club events we advertise the rest of the year are family events). When children attend without their parents or a carer, providers really need to understand the needs of the young people that take part, eg how they might need help with:

  • social interactions
  • sensory factors
  • eating and drinking
  • getting changed or going to the toilet.

So, you can’t just book on to these HAF-funded events like you can with other Fit for All Club events because the providers need to get to know you first. You can, of course, get in touch with providers and see if, and when, you can join them and you are welcome to get in touch with Childrens Quarter to see about developing your own parent-led group or getting your school involved in Fit for All.
